The Story in Brief

Everything Will Be OK is the extraordinary true story of Alex Fox — born in Ukraine, raised in Italy — who transformed a historic 1882 Austro-Hungarian book factory in Lviv into the innovation hub that changed a nation. From a BlaBlaCar ride that changed everything, to launching Ernest Airlines (funded by a Minecraft co-founder), to building SofiIA during wartime blackouts — Alex's journey spans three acts of ambition, reinvention, and resilience.

When the pandemic destroyed Ernest Airlines in March 2020, Alex didn't retreat. When February 24, 2022 brought war while he was in the Canary Islands, he returned to build. BRAVE hub rose from Lviv's former #1 TripAdvisor nightclub — generators, Starlink, bunker. Faktorist emerged as the "Alibaba of Ukraine" — an H2H (Human to Human) marketplace. The UAmbassadors program turned the diaspora into the world's largest distributed commercial network, with up to 50% commission and a radical principle: passion beats competence.

This is not a memoir about the past — it's a mission still in progress. Chapter 16 remains unfinished because the story doesn't end with the book. Every reader receives a Bridge Certificate connecting their purchase to a real Ukrainian producer. Every ambassador becomes a bridge builder. The book isn't just read — it's lived.

About the Author

Alex Fox

Born in Ukraine, Raised in Italy — Entrepreneur & Bridge Builder

Alex Fox was born in Ukraine and raised in Italy — from the Veneto countryside to Milan and Lake Como, to Rome. In January 2014, he moved to Ukraine and discovered Lviv's historic 1882 Austro-Hungarian book factory, transforming it into OK Factory — Ukraine's innovation hub. The first coworker was James from Australia. A cat named Jira became "Senior Kat Advisor."

He founded Ernest Airlines (2016-2020) — Europe's first low-cost carrier connecting Italy and Ukraine, funded by a Minecraft co-founder, managed by ex-Armani talent. When the pandemic destroyed it in March 2020, he built Faktorist — the "Alibaba of Ukraine" — an H2H marketplace connecting Ukrainian producers to the world. SofiIA, whose name fuses Italian "Intelligenza Artificiale" with Greek "sapienza" (wisdom), powers the platform.

He architected the UAmbassadors program, transforming a wartime diaspora of 10 million Ukrainians into the world's largest distributed commercial network — with up to 50% commission and the radical principle that passion beats competence. The War-Life-Balance framework — a philosophy for thriving under pressure — along with the book's six pillars (Accept uncertainty, Build bridges, Transform limitations, Invest in people, Practice active engagement, Maintain global perspective) form the foundation of everything he builds.

Alex believes that the future belongs to bridge builders. This book is both memoir and manifesto: proof that "everything will be OK" isn't optimism — it's operational resilience in practice.
